I am so excited to be a virtual special guest with Renée Mitchell Simpson of Well Diva Lifestyle & Retreats. Over the last couple of weeks, it has been fun participating in virtual get-togethers during the COVID-19 Shelter in Place. This event is a little different because we are asking that you bake right along with us in real-time on Zoom. No sitting on the sidelines, just watching this time. Don’t you just love this twist? Not too mention, it is perfect timing since Easter is the next day and this cake is the perfect way to cap off your meal. So, let’s do little therapy virtual baking together, but separately (gotta hold to the social distancing right now).
The Details
Now, have you always wondered how to make a cake vegan? Well, this one will be an easy recipe to veganize, just be sure to register for the list of ingredients and other details. Renée is going to make the traditional version of the gorgeous cake pictured above and I am going to veganize that same cake with just a few little tweaks. After registering, you will get the ingredient list for both versions, you just decide which one you want to try! For all my vegan-curious peeps out there, you have to give this a try because it is pretty easy to convert since there are no eggs or milk to replace. For my already vegans, why not discover a new dessert to whip up for those special sweet holidays, a birthday or any other reason to celebrate!
Who is Renée Mitchell Simpson
I was truly honored when Renée asked if I would like to join her and of course, I said a great BIG yes! Why did I say yes? She used to own her a dessert company creating wonderful and tasty sweets so, who wouldn’t jump at the chance to learn a trick or two from a pro. Also, when I first met Renée last year, I was inspired by her spirit and story from working in corporate America to becoming an entrepreneur with a thriving destination and wellness business,
We plan to have some fun – quarantine what??!! We got you covered. So, dust off your favorite decorative cake pan, along with your favorite beverage of choice (I’m having a glass of wine right by my side) and let’s bake it out!
To find out more about Sweet Tooth Therapy, check out Renée’s blog post here. We look forward to seeing you on April 11th. Make sure to register!
