Happy New Year

Well, 2017 is coming to a close and 2018 is less than 12 hours away!

2017 was a good year for me because I grew in some areas such as, procrastination(getting better each day) and gratitude.   Embarking on this plant based vegan journey has been a lot of fun trying out different recipes, learning about different ingredient substitutes that work and some that didn’t and discovering there is still quite a bit of vegan junk food out there to satisfy my cravings.  Lastly, I had the willpower to let go of cheese and found that nutritional yeast is my new best cheese flavored friend.

This morning as I was writing out my goals for 2018, as I do each and every year, I decided to do something different for me and actually attach specific dates to certain goals as well as completing a monthly and quarterly plan to achieve them.  Also, I usually pick a theme for the year and 2018’s theme is confidence and consistency.  Therefore, everything I do in 2018 will be with confidence while staying consistently focused on what is to be accomplished, consistent in routine, and consistent in maintaining good health.

As 2018 approaches, I look forward to the many more things to be discovered on my plant based vegan journey like more new recipes to try and share, people I will meet along the way, events to attend, and other vegan hacks to share.  So, stay tuned and come on long on this fantastic voyage!!
